Follow these simple steps to improve Google Chrome performance, reduce memory usage, and speed up browsing.


Step 1: Update Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click ⋮ (three dots)HelpAbout Google Chrome
  3. Let Chrome update automatically
  4. Click Relaunch if prompted

Step 2: Enable Built-in Performance Settings

Go to: Settings → Performance

  • Memory Saver – Frees RAM from inactive tabs
  • Energy Saver (optional) – Reduces background usage (useful for laptops)

Go to: Settings → System

  • Use hardware acceleration when available

Step 3: Reduce Startup Load
